Call for New Members – 2025 Selection Round
The International Doctorate in Translation Studies (ID-TS) is now accepting applications for its 2025 selection round!
What Is ID-TS?
ID-TS is a global network of doctoral programs in Translation Studies—or doctoral programs that include a Translation Studies component. Since its official launch in 2017, the network has grown to include 17 member institutions across 12 countries, and we’re still expanding!
This network embraces Translation Studies in the broadest sense, welcoming research into all aspects of translation and interpreting, and is open to institutions worldwide—not just in Europe.
Why Join?
Being part of ID-TS means:
- Increased international visibility for your doctoral program
- Access to a strong and supportive network of expert institutions
- Opportunities for joint doctorates and collaborative research
- Participation in doctoral training events and cross-border supervision
- Access to funding through the ID-TS Mobility and Training Support Schemes
- A shared commitment to excellence in recruitment, training, and research dissemination
