The Mobility Grant Scheme is aimed to enable students who have begun their doctoral research at an institution in the ID-TS network to spend time researching and networking at another institution within the network. Financial assistance will be provided to a limited number of doctoral students (maximum three per academic year), and the maximum grant available to any one student is €1000, regardless of the intended duration of the mobility. The current round of applications is for grants to support research visits begun and completed within the 2025-2026 academic year, starting from 1 September, 2025. The deadline for submissions for the current round of applications is 30 April, 2025, and the results of the applications will be announced at the latest on 31 May, 2025. Decisions concerning applications will be taken by theBoard of the ID-TS. The minimum research stay for which assistance may be sought is one week, but there is no maximum duration.
